A lot of collectors favour the pursuit of coins with their association to history and more decorative qualities, often mounted and worn. Sovereigns, Krugerrands, Guineas and Brittania are notably more valuable with condition playing an important factor, uncirculated coins remain in best form. British coins minted before 1947 were made of silver making these worth a lot more than modern day Commemorative versions.
